Brian McCarver, CFP®, CIMA®

Focus and Expertise
Brian’s primary focus is high-net-worth client wealth management and retirement plan consulting.  We serve our clients honestly and objectively and work diligently to help them reach their financial goals.

Background and Credentials
Prior to entering the financial services industry in 1997, Brian was a commissioned infantry officer in the U.S. Army and served in domestic and overseas duty stations and earned the Army’s Ranger Tab and Senior Parachutist Badge during his years of service. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy, where he graduated in the top 5%.

Brian began his financial services career in 1997 with Merrill Lynch and moved to The Rohrbaugh Group in 2000. Brian worked in this group as Prudential Securities became Wachovia Securities and, ultimately, Wells Fargo Advisors.  Brian and his business partner, Jonathan Freeman, formed McCarver Freeman Wealth Management in August 2009 which is the predecessor of Stonebridge Financial Group. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst™ designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association, after completing educational requirements held at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Away From the Office
Brian married his high school sweetheart, Heidi, after college graduation and they have three sons, Beau, Liam and Rhys. After serving our country, they moved back to the area where they both grew up and are privileged to live near their parents. Heidi homeschools their children, Brian enjoys outdoor and sporting activities with his boys and they are both involved in numerous community and church related events with their children.

As one of the Directors of Stonebridge Financial Group, my goal is to help lead an organization that strives to provide the highest degree of client service, integrity and professionalism.   With disciplined investment strategies that seek to emphasize risk-adjusted returns, cost and tax efficiency, our objective is to help the individuals, families, corporations and nonprofit organizations that we work with achieve their financial goals.

As a Financial Advisor, I participate in the committee that formulates our investment strategies and I work closely with my clients to articulate their goals and implement a plan to fulfill these objectives.   

Background and Credentials
Jonathan and his business partner, Brian McCarver, formed McCarver Freeman Wealth Management, now known as Stonebridge Financial Group, in August of 2009. Prior to this, they worked together in The Rohrbaugh Group since 2002. 

Jonathan began his career in the financial services industry in 1996 with Fidelity Investments in Boston. He started in operations and moved in 1998 to the trading desk. He then moved to New York after meeting his wife Andrea and worked for Gary Goldberg & Company as a trader until 2000.  In 2001, Jonathan joined Prudential Investments as a Technical Analyst, assisting Financial Advisors across the country with analyzing investment managers for their high net worth clients and institutional accounts. Jonathan soon realized that he wanted to begin a career as a Financial Advisor and in January of 2002, he joined The Rohrbaugh Group at Prudential Securities which later became Wachovia Securities and then Wells Fargo Advisors. Jonathan is a 1996 graduate of Bucknell University and over the course of his career, he has attained the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Investment Management Analyst™(CIMA®) designations.

Away From the Office
Jonathan spends his free time with his wife Andrea and daughters Sophie and Rachel.   Jonathan is also involved in many charitable activities, including volunteering for Downtown Daily Bread, M28 Ministries, Big Brothers Big Sisters and hosting a child through the Fresh Air Fund.   

 

Jeffrey Kline, CRPS®, AIF®
Senior Financial Advisor

Focus and Expertise
Jeff is a Senior Financial Advisor with Stonebridge Financial Group. His primary responsibilities include managing the firm’s corporate retirement plan clients, relationship management, and business development.  Jeff has a background in 401k administration and is passionate about providing our clients with a successful retirement program for their employees.

Background and Credentials
Jeff began working for the Stonebridge Financial Group in March of 2013.  Prior to this, he worked with the team under the Rohrbaugh Group since 2007.   

Jeff is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration on management and marketing. 

Away From the Office
Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Steph, and two daughters, Emily and Elizabeth. He is passionate about golfing and serving his community through the Elizabethtown Rotary Club   

 

Todd Bogda
Financial Advisor

Focus and Expertise
Todd is a Financial Advisor at Stonebridge Financial Group. His focus is providing exceptional service to individuals, families and institutional clients, implementing investment portfolios and asset allocation techniques in effort to achieve client specific investment goals.

Background and Credentials
Todd brings over 20 years of institutional money management expertise to our team. Prior to joining Stonebridge, he founded Haverford Partners, a private investment partnership which managed quantitative investment strategies across equities, commodities and fixed income derivatives.

After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he began his career in 1994 in futures trading at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with First Continental Trading. He then joined BNP/Cooper Neff where he served as a trader on both the US and German index arbitrage trading desks. After leaving Frankfurt Germany, Todd joined Credit Suisse/First Boston in New York and co-managed the firm’s $10 billion US index quantitative strategies group which served as the bank’s proprietary market making arm for index futures and ETFs. In 2002, he took an opportunity with the hedge fund Balyasny Asset Management, where he managed a statistical arbitrage strategy and performed strategy research for the firm’s trade execution algorithms.

Away From the Office
Todd spends his free time with his lovely wife Gina, twins Brady and Emily and son Owen. When not at a hockey rink, soccer field, or baseball diamond, they enjoy any chance to go skiing or relax on the beach. Todd coaches scholastic and travel hockey programs and baseball.

I have seen that by communicating and understanding your priorities, we can develop a cost-effective and tax-efficient strategy that will help you achieve your most important goals. 

Background and Credentials
Brad has been a lifelong resident of Central PA. He began in the financial services industry in 2007 and spent the first decade of his career with another independent wealth management firm.  Prior to that, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a minor in finance from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA where he was also a member of the baseball team. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2012 and his CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR℠ designation in 2013.

Away From the Office
Brad enjoys spending time with his wife Colleen and their three daughters.  In the summer pitches for the Dauphin A’s in a men’s baseball league. He is an avid karaoke singer (country and classic rock primarily) and has turned part of his basement into a karaoke bar. He is a Penn State fan and enjoys watching all sports. He serves on the board for Capital Area Girls on the Run, and also enjoys volunteering with several other organizations in his spare time.

 

Kristopher Korzi, CFP®, AIF®
Portfolio Analyst

Focus and Expertise
Kris works closely with all team members to create a wide range of investment strategies with an emphasis on cost and tax efficiency.  In his role as Portfolio Analyst, Kris assists with the investment analysis process within the teams PIM (Private Investment Management) strategies.*  This includes extensive research of exchange traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds and stocks as well as creating new, complimentary strategies.  His role also includes assisting financial advisors with the entire client management process, from fact-finding to plan creation, implementation and ongoing monitoring.  In addition to helping Stonebridge Financial Group work with individuals and families, Kris also helps with investment analysis for the retirement plan consulting business. 

Background and Credentials
Kris joined Stonebridge Financial Group in March 2015.  Prior to joining Stonebridge Financial Group, he worked as an Analyst for Public Financial Management.  He holds a B.S. in Finance as well as a Master’s in Finance from West Virginia University.  Kris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).

Away From the Office
Kris and his wife, Jaynie, live in Elizabethtown.  In his spare time, Kris enjoys cooking, hunting and spending time with his friends and family.

 

Cody Gehman
Operations Manager

Cody serves as the Operations Manager at Stonebridge Financial Group. Prior to joining the group in November 2017, he worked as a practicing CPA at RKL LLP in their tax services group before moving on to serve as the Financial Controller of Allenberry Resort during the transition period from their renovation phase to grand reopening.

Cody graduated Magna Cum Laude from Shippensburg University with bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Finance. He earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 2016.

Cody married his high school sweetheart Katie in 2016 and now resides in Linglestown with their cat Ali. Cody is an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan and also enjoys spending his free time composing percussion music for local ensembles including the Shippensburg University Drumline.

 

Shari Dietz
Senior Registered Account Administrator

Shari is a Senior Registered Account Administrator at McCarver & Freeman Wealth Management (formerly known as the Rohrbaugh Group). Prior to joining the group in 1997, she worked in the financial services industry at Bank of Hanover & Trust Co. 

Shari’s duties are diverse. She is responsible for the group’s trading, running the group’s internal programs, as well as creating individualized reports for clients. Shari also works directly with clients and with the group’s stock option plans. Shari holds Series 7 and 63 securities registrations.

Shari has been married since 1986 to her husband, William and they have two daughters Kaleigh and Kirsti. She enjoys spending time with her family, boating at Lake Meade, and traveling on long weekend motorcycle rides.

 

Rose Hopkins
Senior Registered Account Administrator

Rose is a Senior Registered Account Administrator with The McCarver & Freeman Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (formerly known as the Rohrbaugh Group). Prior to joining the group in August 2004, Rose worked as a Trading Analyst with Invesmart, Inc. for one year after re-entering the workforce after 14 years of work as a stay-at-home mother. She also worked as a Registered Sales Assistant at the Rohrbaugh Group from 1979 through 1988.

Rose holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in finance and accounting, from Elizabethtown College. She holds Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66 securities registrations.

Rose lives in Camp Hill and spends her free time traveling and spending time with family and friends.

 

Jody Kutz
Client Associate

Jody joined McCarver Freeman Wealth Management Group in March 2014, now Stonebridge Financial Group. Prior to that, she worked as a Client Associate with Wells Fargo Advisors for seven years. She performs administrative duties and provides client service and support for the team.

Jody and her husband Harvey live in Dillsburg. They have five awesome kids, two dogs and enjoy being outdoors. Jody loves gardening, crafts, reading and sharing special time with her family.

 

Melinda Deckert
Administrative Associate

Mindy joined Stonebridge Financial Group in January 2017 as a part-time Administrative Associate.  She has had a myriad of other jobs over the years and brings much energy and vibrancy to the team.   Mindy assists in answering phones, marketing projects, event planning and other administrative duties for the team.

Mindy and her husband Tim live in Mechanicsburg with their 3 wonderful children Alexa, Kirsten & Michael.  Mindy is a busy mom managing her family’s schedules and chauffeuring her children to their sporting activities.  She loves exercising, cooking, yardwork, and any activity involving her family.
