Happy holidays, everyone.

Amidst the craziness of 2020, we are proud to have achieved meaningful improvements and milestones. Thankfully, we had implemented an internal infrastructure two years ago that prepared us for the seamless and immediate migration to working from home. We proudly have retained our entire staff throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We applaud our team members for adapting and responding effectively to the challenge of working efficiently through market instability from the confines of their homes while maintaining the commitment to client service at the forefront of everything we do.

Stonebridge received multiple awards and recognitions in 2020. We finished in the top 10 in Central Penn Business Journal‘s Book of Lists[i] in the categories of “Asset Managers” and “Registered Investment Advisers.” We were also selected to PLANADVISER Magazine’s 2020 national top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors list[ii] and nominated in Harrisburg Magazine‘s Simply the Best program[iii] in the categories of “Financial Planning Company” and “Investment Company.”

For the second year in a row, Central Penn Business Journal recognized us as a Best Companies to Work for in PA [iv] award winner, and we placed 13th out of the top 50 small businesses in the region. This is a credit to the people who work at Stonebridge Financial Group. Our exceptional and personable team members make this firm a wonderful place to work day after day.

On that note, we were grateful to add three new team members this year. Erica Blake joined as a client service associate early in the year and has excelled in her role very quickly. Daniel McGarvey joined as a junior analyst fresh from his 2020 graduation from Messiah University and has been a tremendous resource for our investment committee and advisors. And Brian Tribbitt, our newest financial advisor, joined us in July after previously serving as a commissioned submarine officer in the U.S. Navy, holding a bachelor’s from Penn State and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

We also want to acknowledge a few of the many accomplishments our team earned throughout the year:

– Jeffrey Kline was named to the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Advisors list for the second year in a row.[v]
– Cody Gehman was recently named to the Harrisburg Young Professionals’ 20 in their 20s list.[vi]
– Cory Cuffley earned his CFP® designation.
