Stonebridge Financial Group, LLC, recently named one of the Best Places to Work in PA 2022 by Central Penn Business Journal,[1] is proud to welcome Nicole Tyminski, MBA, MS, as a Corporate Retirement Plan Associate.
Tyminski has spent more than a decade in the financial industry, including several years of management experience. In her new position, Nicole will educate Stonebridge corporate retirement plan participants and assist with business development.
“Helping people has always been part of the core of who I am. Working with money is where I think most people need help, and so it made sense for me to follow this path from banking into the 401(k) space,” Tyminski said. “I enjoy working with plan sponsors and assisting their plan participants with understanding the different pieces of a 401(k).”
Her addition continues the recent expansion of Stonebridge, which has made three hires for its Corporate Retirement Team since July. Last year, the firm opened an office in Lancaster in addition to its Wormleysburg location.
“Nicole’s dynamic personality and passion for helping people make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Jeff Kline, C(k)P®, CRPS®, AIF®, Director – Corporate Retirement Plan Services at Stonebridge. “We look forward to putting her excellent communication skills to work to assist plan participants.”
Tyminski brings a great deal of experience to her new position. She previously served as the Director of Retirement Services at Murray, and before that, she was a Branch Manager at M&T Bank. She worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at Fulton Bank, too.
A graduate of Elizabethtown College, Tyminski earned her MBA from University of Texas-Pan American and her MS from Walden University. In her spare time, she serves as a youth basketball and soccer coach for her two sons. She also is on the board of New Choices Career Development, a program through the Lancaster YMCA that helps women in transition achieve economic self-sufficiency.
“I’m excited to begin my new role at Stonebridge. I hope to help people understand that they need to take care of themselves and their money, so they can enjoy many happy golden years,” Tyminski said.
Tyminski becomes the eighth new hire in the past two years at Stonebridge, which currently has more than $1 billion in assets under management.
